Letha Pease, BS, LMT earned her Bachelor of Science from Humboldt State University in Arcata California where she studied Natural Resource Planning. She served in the US Peace Corps (Philippines 2005-2007) where she taught Coastal Resource Management on the island of Bohol. After returning to the US, Letha spent the next several years building and maintaining wilderness hiking trails such as the PCT. It was this physically demanding work that caused Letha to see the value in massage therapy. Sensing a need to change careers, Letha enrolled at East West College of Massage in Portland Oregon in 2012 and has been a licensed massage therapist since 2013. She now manages her massage practice in Northeast Portland at Spine Tree Chiropractic. In January 2018 Letha joined the faculty at East West College where she shares her enthusiasm for massage and bodywork. When Letha is not working she can be found hiking and backpacking through the forests and mountains of the Pacific Northwest or sailing boats on the Columbia River. She enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and her fur-babies Aurora the dog and Luna the cat.
